It was confirmed in May that Jessica - who played Vanessa Abrams in the US teen drama - and Taylor Momsen, who starred as Jenny Humphrey, will not be in the fifth series of the show, although they could be set for guest roles in the future.
Jessica - who is set to star in teen comedy film 'Owned' - found her character having little screen time in the program, which saw Vanessa go to study abroad.
She is likely to use the time to concentrate on her movie career, which has previously seen her appear in 'Piranha 3D' and 'Fired Up'.
